Hygroscopicity and colorability – Nylon is a synthetic fiber with good hygroscopicity. Under normal atmospheric conditions, its moisture regain can reach 4.5%. In addition, nylon has good dyeability and can be used to dye acid dyes, disperse dyes, etc.
Light resistance, heat resistance, etc.: Due to the high sensitivity of polyamide fiber polymer end groups to light and heat, polyamide fiber turns yellow and brittle, so it has poor light resistance and heat resistance and is not suitable for outdoor fabrics. In addition, nylon has good corrosion resistance, is not afraid of mildew, and is not afraid of moths.
High elongation and wear resistance – high strength, high elongation and excellent elasticity. It has good wear resistance and is an ideal material for producing friction products. However, nylon has a small initial modulus, is easily deformed, and the fabric is not stressed.
